MassimoImazio is contract professor of Physiology at the Department of Public Healthand Pediatrics, University of Torino, Torino, Italy. Beside additional teachingactivity as lecturer at the postgraduate school in Cardiology and InternalMedicine at the University of Torino, he's been involved in different TaskForces of the European Society of Cardiology. In particular, he has beencoordinator of the new 2015 ESC guidelines on pericardial diseases and havebeen authors of several multicenter clinical trials and observational studieson pericardial diseases in the last 15 years. Moreover he is cardiologist andresponsible for the myopericardial diseases, cardiomyopathies and heart failuresection at the Maria Vittoria Hospital in Torino, Italy.
