Eyal Herzog, MD
Dr. Herzog is the Director of the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. He has published many articles in the field of ACS, echocardiography and clinical pathways, including a pathway for acute coronary syndrome and its implementation. He has also been chosen as the "Teacher of the Year," for the Department of Medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital of Columbia University for the last 3 years consecutively. (This is the 5th largest training program in the U.S.)
Coronary artery disease is the most commonly encountered problem in adult cardiology in the world. Echocardiography is the most commonly used imaging modality encountered in cardiology practice in the world. Even though there are many Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) reference books and echocardiography reference books, there is no single practical book so far in the literature with focus on the combined topics.
